Farm and Ranch Real Estate relies heavily on visuals that capture both scale and personal connection. The commodity itself (the land) often requires a broad view, elevated perspective, and steady, patient pacing for the viewer to properly extract the information and impressions they’re seeking. Almost in contrast, however, the brokerage needs to convey a sense of hands-on workmanship and familiarity with land that puts the potential buyer or seller at ease.
With TX Rec Land, this balance was struck in shorter social videos by
1) Easily digestible frames with simple narratives that landowners would connect with. The act of unlocking a gate, for instance, activates sensory and experience memories with relative ease.
2) Movement, but always with the land as a backdrop. Allow for the scale of the landscape to be apparent, but use color and placement to deliver the desired message.
3) Slow pace overall, but start faster and gradually increase length of shots for a slowed rhythm. Allow simple messages to speak.
